Vibrant Maui wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House
Kimberly and Andrew’s wedding at Olowalu Plantation House was one of a kind! The personal details, brought together perfectly by Your Aloha Wedding planning company, were so thoughtful, and just plain fun.
The Olowalu Plantation House is a beautiful venue. It’s the perfect blank slate to bring your vision to life at. This Maui wedding venue is a popular choice for destination couples and locals alike.
Kimberly and Andrew live on Maui! So we were able to have many fun meet ups to discuss flowers and really nail down our design. They went for a moody yet punchy color palette. Featuring florals in burgundy, coral, with a touch of lime green!
This Maui wedding took place in June, the perfect time for local dahlias and peonies! To compliment those showstoppers, we pulled in dainty scabiosa and ranunculus, vibrant gladiolas, bouncy hellebore and butterfly ranunculus, and tropical cymbidium orchids with anthuriums.
The arch design featured strands of multicolored carnations (that we hand strung ourselves!) which served as the perfect backdrop to their vows.
For her bouquet, Kimberly asked for a happy bouquet with a hanging element. Andrew chose stray from the usual and opted for a pocket boutonniere!
But our favorite floral piece of the day was the hanging disco balls!
We had so much fun adorning these in flowers!
